YAML seems like a very useful tool to me.   I’m building an .NET YAML implementation as an experiment.


Going through the 1.1 working draft dated 2004-12-28, I noticed what appears to be an error, but wanted to confirm. Example 2.17 includes the line:


    Hexesc:  "\x13\x10 is \r\n"


As I understand it, this statement is false.   The two digits following \x should be interpreted in hexadecimal, thus the correct version would be:


    Hexesc:  "\x0d\x0a is \r\n"
