I am using the YAJSW stable 11.06 with Windows 7 64 bit and JRE Java 1.6.
I am trying to send an email to my email address and YAJSW is not sending the email. I have the setting in my sendMail.gv below:
mailHost='smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com' // set your mail provider
mailFromfirstname.lastname@example.org' // set your mail from
Then I get in the wrapper.log file below. It seems to start the sendMail.gv but does not send.
INFO|wrapper|Service com.varian.promotionPortal.PromotionPortalAsync|13-05-18 01:40:42|ERROR: Can not regiester to Server
INFO|wrapper|Service com.varian.promotionPortal.PromotionPortalAsync|13-05-18 01:40:42|start script scripts/sendMail.gv
INFO|wrapper|Service com.varian.promotionPortal.PromotionPortalAsync|13-05-18 01:40:42|end script scripts/sendMail.gv
INFO|wrapper|Service com.varian.promotionPortal.PromotionPortalAsync|13-05-18 01:40:42|sending mail to "email@example.com"
Also, when I try to use the mailuser and mailPassword setting I get a error in the wrapper.log file.
Is there a bug on sending emails in this release?
Do you have to have the Java 1.6 EE installed to work with the sendMail.gv? I have the Java 1.6 SE. As I undestand the EE has the mail package while the 1.6 SE does not. Is this causing the issue?
looking at :
indicates that you will have to adapt the sendMail script as follows:
port = 465null
mailHost=' smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com' // set your mail provider
mailFrom='your mail' // set your mail from
mailUser='your mail' // set your user if you require authentication
mailPassword='your password' // set your password if you require authentication
useSSL=true // set to true to use SSL
If there are still issues you may also set:
and check the console output of the wrapper.
for further information see:
If you are having any issues pls post your log/console output. (pls remember to remove any private information such as mail addresses, passwords, etc…)
ps: sorry for the typos:
port = 465
concerning jvm: this should not be an issue.
the required mail.jar is included in the yajsw distribution.
