I use YPOPs on a server machine. This machine checks
the mail every five minutes. This procedure works for
about 3 hours, then it starts popping up with the
verify box. Obviously, being a server, no-one checks
it very often, even though Terminal Services, Remote
Control, etc. are used. The problem here is that the
longer the machine is left alone, the more times the
server will poll YPOPs, and the more verify code
windows will appear, hogging the memory. It's not even
possible to shut YPOPs down properly because of this.
It needs to be forced closed via CTRL+ALT+DELETE.

My suggestion is that the verify box is removed from
the screen after a) a pre-set time, such as 30 secs;
or b) When the connection to YPOPs is closed (via
timeout at the client end, for example.)

PC users might not want a time out like 30 seconds. It's
a little difficult to implement anyway. How about we add
a misc "popup dialogs" option, which for a server, you
    would turn off?

That could work. What I would like to add to your comment is
that if the "popup dialogs" is turned off, the systray icon
should reflect that, and if verify codes are encountered
(and therefore ignored), the icon then should also indicate
    that.

Fixed in 0.8.7 - any dialog that pops up from a
send/receive session will time out in 10 minutes, and it
will behave the same as if you pressed cancel (which means
it will abort the current send/receive).
