This seemed to work for me:
Original
POP3 port : 110
SMTP port: 25

1) Go to your Advanced Preferences | Network in YPops.
2) Set the POP3 port to 80
3) OK
4) OK to prompt stating that changes won't take place
until you restart YPops.
5) Right click on the task bar icon for YPops and exit
6) Find a shortcut or the YPops.exe and restart.

Go to your email client
Setup your email account so that the incoming POP 3
server port is 80 instead of 110. (Usually part of the
advanced settings)
Save

This worked for me. I have verified that I can both send
and receive in between 2 different yahoo accounts.

I hope this helps y'all.

Closing this report since its not a bug report.

In any case, the reported issue should not be there in the
latest versions in the 0.8.x series.
