I know that CVS is a work in progress, but any contributed code has to be a step towards an improved package. At the same time, I would like to see these contributions preserved. A bit of internationalisation would do no harm, and it would be great to add internationalization of any screens (the *.po files, I think.) I was going to have a go at that for Kmymoney's Help documentation to help a French user, but fortunately for her and unfortunately for my experience, a better-equipped French Canadian came along. > Some changes I made (like perpetuating dictate mode and slow sending of > letters) even break the rules xvoice should be used (with configuration > with the xml-files). So these changes could be difficult to check in. Incidentally, although I can't see it now, I thought that there was an option somewhere in Xvoice to have it go into dictate mode when it starts up. If it is anywhere, it probably should be in the GUI. Dragon has an option to start with the microphone on but asleep, so that one has only to say "Wake Up," and avoid a keystroke. > As xvoice is now working rather well for me for everything I wanted it to > do (apart from the lack of vocab-training which can't be done without IBM's > support), I have received no reply to my e-mail to IBM, although they promised at least an acknowledgement within two days. Some of the differences between American and Australian English depend on emphasis. I noticed that the CMU dictionary has emphasis. I wonder if VV supports it?
