Hi, I have copied across all the files to my server and used the settings in my previous versions vars file but when I try to run the install.php I get :

The application file root directory variable has not been set correctly.

It is currently set to '', which does not exist.

Please open the vars.php file which is located in the include folder. Change the value of the $xrms_file_root variable to the correct path.

Then run this installation again.

I have checked and I have the same directories and settings as my old version.

Please could you let me know what you think is wrong.

Thanks

    Hi, Bidbud!

If I understand correctly the way you resolved this issue from the other support ticket you opened, you should not have had to change the cookie variable. I would be suspicious that you are not pulling in the right /include/vars.php. Did you check where include-locations.php is pointing to?) or, for some reason, XRMS is not retrieving that value.

Which XRMS version(s) are you working with (old/new) and how exactly did you migrate them? The vars.php has changed in CVS so if you just copied over the one from the 'old' version, you are likely to run into problems.

    I hope this helps.
