Guten Tag,
ich versuche seit einigen Tagen auf meinem Server die aktuelle Version von xrms zu installieren.
System Suse 11.1 - Php5 - Mysql 5.0.67

Ich bekomme wenn ich das installationsscript aufrufe immmer die Fehlermeldung "PHP Catchable fatal error: Object of class ADODB_mysql could not be converted to string in /srv/xrms/include/utils-misc.php on line 1752".
Was kann ich tun um diesen Fehler zu vermeiden.

Vielen Dank

    Hi, Torsten!

There are several mentions of this problem in the forums - please check those before posting a support request. If you have, please report what you have tried (and with what results) to help narrow down the search.

The problem is not XRMS-specific. It may arise from your server configuration or from the wrong settings in /include/vars.php.

    A couple of leads:
    - Which version of Apache are you using? Also, which release of PHP5?
    - Check carefully that all the settings in vars.php are correct, specifically the paths to the XRMS installation (check the slashes at the end of the paths!)

  • Could the problem is solved by a new installation of PHP.

    Thank you very much

    Hi, Torsten!

I noticed you have deleted this tracker. Did you resolve the problem? Would you want to share what the fix was?

    Cheers,
    Ivaylo
