xrms v 1.99

A local default LAMP installation with php as apache
2.0 handler it worked. The hosted webspace with PHP CGI
support i get a fatal error:
call to undefined function: _gettab() in
..include/classes/HTML/QuickForm/advmultiselect.php on
line 539.

I never run xrms before on it - maybe its something else.

Thanks in advance

I think your web host has an old version of the PEAR package
    HTML::Common installed.

The function _getTab() is included/defined in
PEAR::HTML::Common. If that package is not installed, XRMS
will include it's own version in
    include/classes/HTML/Common.php. If that package is
installed, however, we try to use it.

So, I'd say updgrade the PEAR packages on that host.

    Try:
    pear upgrade -a

    from a shell.

Yes. The problem was the included PEAR version of the ISP.
My solution for this ISP (1&1 germany) was a separate PEAR
installation and an additional ini_set() for the
include_path to overwrite the path order of the ISP.
The pear upgrade via shell was not possible because of
    limited access to this server.

It seems to work now - my problem is solved.

Thanks for the really fast support.

I'm glad you were able to solve your problem.

Also please be aware that PHP in SGI mode is substantially
slower than PHP via mod_php handler, so oyu may experience
    performance issues.

Let us know if you need anything else.

    Closing this issue.
