BACKGROUND
Many large organizations use a "Mail Stop" for a user, which allows the mail to be routed to the employee, no matter their location. XRMS does not currently provide the ability to add a user specific Mail Stop or Floor number, and requires each Contact with a Mail Stop, to have an individual address.

SUGGESTED FEATURE ENHANCEMENT - CONTACT ADDRESS
A Contact specific line for an address, where the main street address is incorporated, with the Contact's Mail Stop or floor number.

For example, 1,500 Contacts are at the address of:
100 Wanamaker Drive
Chicago, IL 30030

If one of the Contacts has a Mail Stop of MS-LT434, the address would be configured as
Address Line 1
Address Line 2
CONTACT ADDRESS
City, State, Postal Code
Country

This would allow all 1,500 Contacts at this address to use the base address, and to incorporate their specific Mail Stop.

For the above example would appear in that Contact's record as:
100 Wanamaker Drive
MS-LT434
Chicago, IL 30030

Suggestion: Use the custom1-custom4 fields on the contact, or use the custom_fields plugin. There are plusses and minuses to each of these approaches, many of which are discussed in the XRMS Administrator Guide.
