Hi,
I'd be happy if you could make XPY show only those
settings that are possible on this computer (like XP
Antispy does) - on the first start of XPY everything
was unchecked, that's kinda confusing. :-)

Yes, but I had XP Antispy before and XPY didn't recognize
the settings I had made with it...

the detection mode of xpy checks the registry, so i assume
you already applied all possible settings. the restore-mode
of xpy will not restore settings made with xp-antispy, as
xpy doesn't reset those to the default state (windows
default), but to the state they were before using xpy.

to verify what you wrote, i applied the recommended settings
of xp-antispy on windows xp (sp2) and ran xpy afterwards.
the changes already made in xp-antispy were not detected by xpy.

if this is not a misunderstanding, you might need to provide
more specific informations about your problem.

That's what I meant :) I thought before that XPY could
recognize all settings that are already done so it's an
easier way from Antispy to XPY.
So I have to live with it. ;-)

    Thank you...

let me correct/rephrase myself. the changes already done are
detected, but as they were made already the boxes remain
    unchecked.

    why, it's a feature :)

the autodetection is made for settings that were NOT applied
yet, makes no sense to apply the same setting twice

Right, but it makes no sense either to be able to check an
    already made setting. :)
