Linux currently supports about 8000 differnt kinds of temerature sensors (perhaps a bit of an exaggeration). I am toying with the idea of simply creating one meter type that will walk the entire /sys tree and examine any file with "temp" in the name to see if it contains a number that looks like a reasonable temperature value. If so, call that a meter. Maybe there
is some better documentation out there. But I'm not hopeful. :)
