    Hello whoever is out there.

I keep getting ISEs for certain modules (ones uploaded and decompressed).
It's happened with wfsection and xcgallery.

All the folders and files seem there and in the right place, but when I click the module link from the Main Menu, I get the ISE.

    Any ideas?

    tia :)

      Hi there,

      Thanks SO much for responding.

Unfortunately, couldn't find any htaccess file. Actually, i think I had the same problem with Moodle (heard of that) and it was a htacces file that was the problem.

      Anyway, can't find that here.

OK, bare with me for the following, I'm no expert.

      XOOPS Verions:
      do you mean version? 2

      Web Server Software (Apache/IIS):
      Apache version 1.3.33 (Unix)

      Module Versions:
      xcgallery 1.1

      PHP Debug output:
      no idea :(

      TIA

Check for .htaccess files in the module directories. If present, remove them and see if that solves your problem. If not, please post back with a little more information about your setup.

      My error log shows this:

error: directory is writable by others: (/pathname/xoops/modules/xcgal)

hope it helps somebody to help me. :)
