Bringing the project back to life

It's been over a year since the last CVS commit (by me) and over three years since I heard from Claudio. You might think xm p is dead. Well it isn't! Now that I finally found some time to spare, I intend to revive xmp. I'll release 2.1.0pre1 from current CVS soon and then start working to update the ALSA driver to support ALSA 1.x.
