Hello,

When playing m3u playlists in Xineliboutput media player I noticed that some entries are sorted in a "strange" way when setting

Media - Scan for metainfo: yes (xineliboutput.Media.EnableID3Scanner = 1 in /var/lib/vdr/setup.conf)

A simple m3u playlist containing the following three lines:

song3.mp3
song2.mp3
song1.mp3

shows up in media player in the order

Song 3
Song 1 <- !
Song 2 <- !

It does not matter whether the mp3 files have an id3 tag or not.

When setting xineliboutput.Media.EnableID3Scanner = 0 the songs are played in the order they appear in the playlist (3-2-1).

I'm using the packages from e-tobi.net/vdr-experimental on Debian Lenny, VDR with local X11 frontend:

vdr 1.7.23-1~ctvdr1
vdr-plugin-xineliboutput, libxine1-xvdr, xineliboutput-sxfe 1.0.7+cvs20120130.2334-1

Kind regards, Helmar.
