No, I'm not using KDE or gnome (using XFCE). No to ARTS and ESD as well. I'm using ALSA. I'm not sure if it's an ALSA problem, and not something specific to Xine (again, mplayer and vlc work fine). Any ideas on how I can check to see if it's an ALSA problem, vs just a Xine problem? I can play a file with aplay, but I can't tell if there is a delay. The audio is only delayed in xine by about 0.4 seconds I'm not sure what to look for using --verbose=3. Lots of stuff there, and nothing seems out of the ordinary. I do see some "fixing sound card drive by xxxx pts" statements. Where xxxx is around -1200 to -1900 Are you using KDE or GNOME? ARTS or ESD causing a delay? What audio driver are you using? try xine --verbose=3 --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less. |
