I'm using xine to play MPEG2 PS streams captured from DVB-T and
edited with ProjectX and Avidemux. I have one major problem, where I
get large (0.25 - 0.5 second) audio drop-outs, usually at moments
where there are low video bitrates (still or nearly still images). The
locations of the drop-outs are deterministic -- they happen in the
same place each time the file is played, and do not happen in other
players (mplayer, avidemux, totem-gstreamer).
The problem happens on at least two different machines, an AMD64
and a VIA EPIA, and on both the Debian-multimedia version from
Christian Marillat and a recent CVS version I compiled myself last
I've tried googling for some indication of anyone else with this
problem, but haven't been able to find anything that looks similar.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to sort this problem out?
