Hi. I have not followed this list very close lately, but found nothing like this skimming through the posts. Output from xine-bugreport is attached. Thanks in advance. -- The person who can smile when something goes wrong has thought of someone they can blame it all on. |

Hi Ralf, > I have not followed this list very close lately, but found nothing > like this skimming through the posts. > > Output from xine-bugreport is attached. Strange. xine obviously wants to play the logo file, but it does not start with the playback. Does it help, when you move the logofile away, so that xine cannot find it? Xine hang on the start of a load of a video file. In addition xine make a segmentation fault, if I try to launch the file f= rom=20 the gui. I I try to launch the file using the -p swing it works( still=20 lagging at the begining of the file ). If launched like this the selectio= n of=20 a file in the gui works correctly. I use xine-lib 1.alpha2 and xine-ui 0.9.15. Thanks Michel |

Hi Micael, > Yes, also I have the segmentation fault when starting a dvd from gui. > I have not dug deep into the problem, but work, it does not. Another user had a segfault with DVDs, too, and the latest cvs version seems to have fixed it, since it contains a new version of libdvdread. If you want to, you can try the latest cvs. Michael -- panic("CPU too expensive - making holiday in the ANDES!"); 2.2.16 /usr/src/linux/arch/mips/kernel/traps.c |
