Hello. I am using xine-lib-1-beta2 with xine-ui-0.9.17 When I log in to KDE and run xine, it crashes and it also takes XFree with. Then the X is restarted and when I log in again everything goes fine. Is it normal ? |

I am using RH 8.0 ( kde 3.0.3, Xfree XFree86-4.2.0) I have nvidia GeForce= 4=20 Ti64. I just write xine to console and it crashes. Then I log in again an= d=20 everything goes fine. I am using 0.9.13 now a days.=20 btw: I am using czech .sub subtitles and the czech characters are not=20 displaying correctly. OK that solves my crash problems. Thank you. I'm noticing that the audio for this version of xine is really terrible compared to the last version, playing mp3s, cds, or videos. Is there a reason for that? I'm still having audio sync problems with the Detective Story mov from the animatrix. http://progressive1.stream.aol.com/wb/gl/wbonline/progressive/thematrix/us/med/detect_480_dl.zip When I start to play it the audio is way ahead of the video, and the seconds counter is stuck on 31 seconds |
