Please answer to the mailinglist, not directly to me, thanks. Am Freitag, 20. April 2012, 18:39:40 schrieb Amir Ghoochani: > thank you mr. The vcdimager package is a openSUSE package, not a Packman package. If you want to compile something's using libvcdinfo you have to install vcdimager-devel package. But if you use the kaffeine package (we have both versions the kde3 and kde4 version) from Packman, it also will use xine-lib 1.2.1, so you needn't compile it yourselve. -- Machs gut | http://www.iivs.de/schwinde/buerger/tremmel/ | http://packman.links2linux.de/ Manfred | http://www.knightsoft-net.de |

The "official" version is "crippled", the one in packman is full. Just follow the instructions in the openSUSE sites. -- Cheers, Carlos E. R. (from 11.4 x86_64 "Celadon" at Telcontar) |

Meaning that the version distributed by openSUSE is "crippled" for legal reasons, and that packman distributes the complete version. > can you where can i found that libvcdinfo for computers without internet > connection. No, you need internet. It is part of "vcdimager" rpm. Time ago I heard of a multimedia CD add on distributed by somebody, but I haven't heard of it lately. You can download everything you need somewhere with internet, then install them manually on another computer. Now YaST or zypper (command line) will find the Packman packages and solve all the dependencies for you. Make sure to install the xine-ui version from packman, only this will use xine-lib 1.2.1 instead of 1.1.x and the libxine2-codecs package for the patent restricted codecs. -- Machs gut | http://www.iivs.de/schwinde/buerger/tremmel/ | http://packman.links2linux.de/ Manfred | http://www.knightsoft-net.de |
