Captain CSS says that the last versions (0.2.9 and 0.3.0) of his plugin
include a workaround for the recent Linux kernel bugs. Does this mean it
is safe now to update my kernel? I mean, the only reason I stopped
updating the kernel of my Linux box was because of xine as I read in
this list about problems when using kernel versions above 2.4.9.
But are these problems solely present when using the d4d plugin? What if
I use the dvdnav plugin? Will they show up too?

And I'm swapping between 2.4.14 and the 2.5.x branch and have had no=20
kernel-related problems yet.
Small things make base men proud.
