Hi with latest version of Xine I get the following message Sep 27 10:53:09 braveheart kernel: sr1: CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST. anytime the input_vcd module issues the ioctl to the kernel. This slows down the things a bit. I saw that the ioctl asks for raw sectors, and tried mode2 without success. Anyone else? -- Giuseppe "Cowo" Corbelli ~\/~ My software: http://cowo.mascanc.net -<! Looks like your cdrom can't read VCDs (was that "green book" or "white book"?). You should have the same problem with earlier versions of xine as well as any other VCD software. If that's your problem, removing the VCD plugin (which is useless for you anyway) will fix the problem. A new cdrom would be another solution... Hope I didn't guess totally wrong, Siggi |
