I've created a patch against xine rc6a that ports it to OS/2. It is
available at <http://doconnor.reamined.on.ca/xine/OS2DIF.ZIP>. I tried
to send it in a email, but sourceforge is rejecting all zip attachments.
Included is an OS/2 DIVE video out driver, OS/2 DART audio out driver
and OS/2 MCD driver which allows MMOS/2 players to act as front ends to
xine. It also includes the cue point patch. Many of the parts of xine
are not yet ported.
It isn't ready to be added. It still needs some stdout cleanup and fix
to up some of the comments. I'm submitting it so you can give me an idea
what you think of it and what else needs to be done.
You'll notice I don't use the autoconfig system. I have my own
makefile.os2 files in each directory and buildos2.cmd to call each of
them. While I realize maintaining them is extra work, it is a lot more
bearable the dealing with autoconfig, even though it has been party
ported to OS/2.
Let me know what you think.
