Hi, Sorry to those who get this message twice, and sorry to those who get it too late. But this is definitely targeted to xine _developers_, so I'me reposting it here. Currently, it Looks like our Stuttgart crew (G=FCnter, Heiko, myself and maybe Matthias Hopf, who is our IRIX porter) will be there. I haven't heared about anybody else yet, but everyone is welcome. <ad> If you are unsure about going to LinuxTag: It's definitely worth it. There were quite a few people there, even today! And I had some nice talks with Illiad (userfriendly.org) and Eric Raymond. CmdrTaco was also seen there, let alone lots of people from different projects... </ad> Short version: To meet some xine developers on Saturday evening, drop me a personal mail! Subject: Re: [xine-user] LinuxTAG 2001, one more question :) Hi, On Tue, 3 Jul 2001, Matthias Dahl wrote: Sorry, I'm not too responsive these days... > Just wanted to ask if there is a XINE meeting sometime on this years Linu= xTAG. > I know there won't be a presentation nor anything else - but maybe some= sort > of developers meeting? There's not a real meeting (yet), but I like the idea to see some xine developers IRL... I'll probably be at LinuxTag most of the time from tomorrow afternoon on, G=FCnter said, he'd be there Friday evening and most of Saturday, and I guess that Heiko will be there on Saturday as well. So I'd suggest we meet Saturday evening, as I expect most developers to be there that time. I guess we'll all be hungry by then, so I'd propose some kind of dinner (that may be anything from Burger King to a nice local restaurant, depending on the number and preferences of all participants ;) An alternative would be Friday evening, but Saturday is preferred... I volunteer to coordinate everything. Please drop me a personal mail, if you're interested, so we can exchange details (maybe cell phone numbers, just to make it safe). > I hope this wasn't too off-topic - if it was, I'm awaiting my punishment.= :-) Well, I guess it wasn't. And this thread ends with this mail (by definition, all further stuff on this subject should go personallly to me!)
