Ok, I tried your binaries, work great, thanks. After fiddling with ltmain.sh, I can now also get mingw to compile xine-lib (had to fix two trivial compile probs, as already reported by Xavier Hervy) and xine-win32. Didn't do much testing yet, but I can play an MPEG without crashes. The audio really needs some work, though. ;-) I get constant crackles, as if the buffer size was too small.
