[xine-user] xine hangs on startup

Hi,

I've built up xine-libs 1-beta12 and xine-ui 0.9.21, and quite often
when starting the X frontend, it hangs up to this point:

If I keep Ctrl+C'ing and trying again, eventually it will start up. I've
built the same version on three machines all with different graphics
drivers and they all have this problem.

I can use say, the aaxine frontend under X and it starts up first time.

Is this problem known? Any workaround?
