hi, while checking the public osd api, i noticed this declaration: void xine_osd_set_font (xine_osd_t *self, const char *fontname, int size); the public function is void, but the internal one is not: int (*set_font) (osd_object_t *osd, const char *fontname, int size); it's bad having a public api like that because one cannot check if setting the font worked or not. this is specially important when using truetype fonts, since some error might occur, the font may be missing, etc. i'd like having that function returning int. do anybody know if such change would break (i mean, cause any trouble to) compiled applications? regards, Miguel |
