(like: aplay -w /some/wave/file.wav) If not: are the kernel modules loaded? They should have been installed by the alsa-driver rpm. There might even be a runlevel script available that loads them. Try 'rcalsasound start' as root. If that works you can have the alsa modules loaded on every reboot with 'insserv alsasound' as root. Michael -- I am Bill of Borg.
