[xine-devel] Stuttering playback

Hi list

Ever since 0.9.8 (i think) playback at hoome have experienced a stuttering 
effect. I only play mpeg files and dvds, but they all have the same problem 
and it haven't been there before.

For example the starwars episode 2 trailer. Three or four times during the 2 
minute video the sound stutters. That is, the same bit of sound is repeated 
a number of times (example: "He saw the the the giraf")

Anybody have an idea of what's wrong.

Perhabs the new feedback of PTS corrections from audio out. My soundcard is 
a builtin AC97.
