Help? PNG issue

    Hi
    I am having the same problem with 0.72 (Fox 1.2.13) on Mandrake. I compiled both the fox and xfe directly.

    Any suggestions - Besides this it is running perfectly!

    I guess I have an issue related to this...

    When I try and configure xfe, I get

    checking for png_read_info in -lpng... no
    configure: error: "libPNG not found"

    even though I just installed libpng from the fox web site. I even had a perfectly working libpng before this.

    (Slack 10, Dropline Gnome 2.8)

    To solve the PNG issue :

    1. Check you have the PNG library and headers on your system
    2. Recompile the FOX library
    3. Recompile Xfe
    This should work...
