I set up a xf4vnc X session on :1 display with
authenticated passwd file. I have started the server with:
startx -- :1 -xf86config /root/XF86Config.xf4vnc
the output was:

Even if it reports some errors on rfbmouse and keyb it
seems to work from my windows box, but from my linux
box (last tight vncviewer 1.2.9-1 installed) when I try
to connect using default vncviewer options the server
crashes with only this notification:

BUT
when I specify the -encodings "tight" vncviewer option
it seems to work as win vncviewer without any problem.

Apparentely it crashes when the viewer is using "raw"
encoding (which is the default on linux).

Any hint? Some "Options" to enable in the XF86Config?

Please help, I can't leave this run if it can be
remotely crashed.
P.S.
The server is a lean Mandrake 9.1 with Xfree 4.3.0.

Bye.

    I've found the problem.

It was related to the new GetImage option in 4.3.0.103.

So, 4.3.0.104 will have this fixed.

Carry on using hextile, or tight and you'll be o.k.
