New release: xCHM v1.20

Everyone building xCHM for x86_64 (64-bit) platforms should grab this update. Version 1.20 fixes a nasty bug that crashes xCHM when the CHM is just "right", if the application's been built for a 64-bit system.

Yet another release for Mac OS X (v1.19.1)

Universal Mac binary built using XCode 3.1 on a Mac OS X Leopard (10.5). It uses wxWidgets 2.8.12 and CHMLIB 0.40 (statically linked). This release is probably as non-Latin-character-set-friendly as xCHM's ever going to be. Also, a bunch of minor bugs have been fixed.

I've improved a few things in the last couple of days, so get this one instead of v1.19.

New xCHM v1.19 binary for Windows 32bit

Built with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. This release is probably as non-Latin-character-set-friendly as xCHM's ever going to be. Also, a bunch of minor bugs have been fixed.

New release: xCHM v1.19

The new version enables proper support for Chinese BIG5 and Japanese SJIS characters (when linked against Unicode wxWidgets). A few bugs have been fixed as well. I'd recommend that you upgrade to this version.

Enjoy!

New xCHM Mac OS X binary

After many years, at last a new Universal Mac binary built using XCode 3.1 on a Mac OS X Leopard (10.5). It uses wxWidgets 2.8.12 and CHMLIB 0.40 (statically linked).

Let me know how it works.

Binary xCHM 1.18 for Win32 released

All kinds of bugs were fixed, but the best news is probably that the new binary has finally been compiled with the Microsoft Visual C++ Express 2010 compiler. That means that it no longer depends on the MinGW runtime DLL, and hopefully that it works a bit faster and more reliably.
