I've been using the GTK Xchat now for almost three years and just
recnetly when got my iBook started with Xchat Aqua. Basically only
difference I noticed (at least one which bothers me) is that once a
message on channel is very long, longer than the window is wide,
it is split in weird way:

<foo> dsgdflgdflkdfjljhdfljhfldjdljhdl
dfkgjdflkjgdljfdlgjdlfkjld

I would prefer the text starting from the beginnin of the next line,
since I do not use the Indent nicks option. (And I don't have the
separator bar there)

Another request is, that could "Announce away" option be turned of
by default? It irritates many people and one should be aware of it
before using it :)

That is a feature of the Cocoa TextView. Not much I can do about that
given the time I have. I have this issue on my list of TODOs.
