Version 0.15.2 don't show '€' right (shown as 'â'). If typed by other
users it's not shown (blank space). The used character set is:
ISO-8859-1

    ISO-8859-1 does NOT contain a Euro symbol. You need to use a
    different charset, it's simply not there. Maybe CP1252 or
    ISO-8859-15 are better choices.

    Use UTF-8 as your charset, all real IRC clients do.

    Tested and shown to work when the charset matches the charset of the other
    client. As zed points out, CP1252 or ISO-8859-15 are better choices.
