I'm guessing here, but I think xchat's default channel configuration string char * is too small. I just hit the max.

XChat 2.8.6

A multiplatform IRC Client

Linux 2.6.32-22-generic [i686/1.60GHz/SMP]
Charset: UTF-8 Renderer: Pango
Compiled: Apr 24 2010

© 1998-2008 Peter Železný <zed@xchat.org>

I have the following default channels:

#ubuntu-community-team,#ubuntu-beginners,#ubuntu-beginners-council,#ubuntu-lococouncil,#whube,#fluxbox,#fluxbox-dev,#ubuntu-us-oh,#ubuntu-us-id,#ubuntu-us,#ubuntu-locoteams,#ubuntu-beginners-team,#ubuntu-beginners-dev,#ubuntu-us-ia,#zenix,#ubuntu-us-ne,#ubuntu-us-ma,#ubuntu-classroom-backstage,#marble

It always looses the last three chars ( The string is 303 chars long, and 300 is too even to make me think it's anything else )

Thanks guys!

P.S. I don't have an account on SF. I'll field any question you would care to ask via email -- paultag at ubuntu dot com

Thanks again!

    I don't believe this is a bug in 2.8.8.
