X-CD-Roast is really lacking a w32 version, as we only have available proprietary CD burner applications to there (like Nero, Alcohol, etc...) - open-source cd-burning applications, like X-CD-Roast on w32 are really welcome!!!!
and please, the ones porting X-CD-Roast to w32, please compile it always on MinGW (or other GCC-based open-source compiler), never with crappy compilers like VisualStudio or alike...
I don't see an easy port of X-CD-Roast for w32.
If you really like Free Software (as in freedom, not price), I recommend you switching to GNU/Linux or another system that is Free.
To read more about free software and the GNU project, look at the followring URL's:
The reason I don't see a w32 version comming up (soon), is partly that X-CD-Roast is a (very nice) frontend for programmes like cd-paranoia, cdrecord and/or others. Another reason would be lack of interest; why spend a lot of energy to a proprie when you can use it from GNU/Linux and be all free?
I am afraid this isn't the answer that you were looking for, but its the best I can give you right now. I hope that you take my reply seriously.
I am not a developer of X-CD-Roast,
nor do I speak on behalf of the developers.
