Version 2.7.1 (svn r12147, built Fri Apr 6 00:47:01 EDT 2012)

I\'m setting up kdump on my diskless nodes. I added the last two lines to my litefile table.

[root@c250mgrs22-pvt /]# tabdump litefile

image,file,options,comments,disable

\"ALL\",\"/var/mmfs/\",\"persistent\",,
\"ALL\",\"/boot/\",\"persistent\",,
\"ALL\",\"/etc/kdump.conf\",\"persistent\",,

I ran liteimg and then nodeset again and the files and directory are set up successfully under /nodedata/c250f06c12ap19-hf0, but I get these error messages during boot. Do I need to set an alternate attribute in the litefile table for the options attribute?

    Kerry Xu Qing,
I am changing this bug to a Fixed resolution instead of rejected since we need to make sure the the xCAT documentation is clear and concise for the admin. This is not a code issue but is a doc update activity.

Kerry, an you please close out this xCAT bug when you have updated the xCAT documentation.

Brian said we need a sourceforge defect to pair with bugzilla 81718. So I am re-opening this defect and raising to 7 for the time being.

To use the efix attached, copy it to /install/postscripts/, change the compute nodes' postscripts to remove the old enablekdump postscript and include this new one, for example:

    chdef noderange -m postscripts=enablekdump
    chdef noderange -p postscripts=enableHFIstaticIPdump

    Then reboot the compute nodes.
