The new Update released today should allow for some better support.
This should also get around the WMA audio.
H.264 .mov files played beautifully even from a portable drive.
# Added H.264 video support: Up to 10 Mbps peak, Baseline, Main, and High profiles with 2 channel AAC LC.
# Added MPEG-4 Part 2 video support: Up to 5 Mbps peak, Simple Profile with 2 channel AAC LC.
No updated file posted???
this is the xbox360 console spring update.
Perhaps it might help when decoding divx?
I had a play yesterday and it should make it a lot easier. It seems that you have to repack it into an mp4 with stereo aac soundtrack. Although I need to find a good tool for converting to mp4 on the fly as ffmpeg and mplayer seem to have some issues.
Unfortunately the update has broken video playback using x360mediaserve until I update it as it now uses the upnp browse action, which also seems to allow for filesystem browsing.
Any progress on this? I'm not a Java programmer, but I'm willing to help. Any pointers on where to start would be appreciated.
