Well, my exams seem to have eaten all my time... but I'll try

This will work; you may also use ActivePerl, MinGW and the thing
at http://wxperl.sf.net/ap_mingw/ ( just use perl -MConfig_m Makefile.PL
instead of perl Makefile.PL )

Most of wxSTC interface is "simple", i.e. it takes int/long/wxString;
you should be able to implement most of it using the 5 functions
I already implemented as a template.
