Installing wxcore to a path containing spaces fails with several wxdirect "openFile: does not exist" errors. This is a common situation on Windows XP, or when installing globally on any version of Windows. (Installing globally is necessary to workaround some cabal-dev problems.)
Further details can be found in http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.haskell.cafe/104222. The suggested workaround of installing from github source after patching a setup file doesn't work, something seems to go wrong with the containers < 0.5 constraint rebuilding everything against the hackage version.
