I've not found a reference that answers my question: Can I use the same shortcut/hot key letter in different main menu trees? For example, In File, I have new, open, save, and close. These are specified as &New, &Open, &Save, and &Close. In another top-level menu, Projects, I also have New, Open, Save, and Close. I would like to specify those the same way. My assumption is that an alt-x or ctrl-x combination is only "visible" within a top-level menu. So, ctrl-f -> ctrl-o (for File->Open) is different from ctrl-p -> ctrl-o (for Project->Open). Is this assumption correct? TIA, Rich -- Dr. Richard B. Shepard, President | Author of "Quantifying Environmental Applied Ecosystem Services, Inc.
