Which for someone with > no HF antenna at the Antenna > 1 position (like me), could be an issue. This is an issue with recent Yaesu rigs that I have been meaning to address. The issue is that sending a CAT command to go to a frequency in a different band is not the same as switching the band then changing the frequency "in-band". Aerial selection and a couple of other settings like AGC are stored with the band not the frequency. All the CAT programs have to take special action for Yaesu rigs to work out the target band, use the band change command(s) to get to that band then set the final frequency. Few actually do this :( > > Behavior is repeatable when switching modes from WSPR-2 to WSJT65/9 > and back again > > -- > P.J.
