A tool which allows Java applications to be installed and controlled like a native NT/Unix service. Also included fault correction software to automatically restart crashed or frozen JVMs. Critical when app is needed 24x7. Built for flexibility.
Version 2.2.6 of the wrapper was released.
Unfortunately, we have lost our Solaris development machine. You should still be able to build from the sources, but this version does not include a Solaris binary.
The main new features are:
Support for dumping the JVM's threads at runtime. Great for tracking down deadlocks and other problems.
Modified all comments to be compatible with older C compilers.
Fixed some problems with controling which JVM is used on Windows systems.
Fixed a crash problem in cases where % characters were in JVM output.
