We're having some trouble with WPBD 2012 on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion). Anyone else having issues? The DMG file downloads fine, mounts and opens, the RTF opens with no trouble, the .app file and link to "Applications" is present, but when an attempt is made to access the .app file, the user is told that it is corrupt. We've also transferred the DMG via USB to this machine from another machine (10.7) that had no problem running the app. So it seems 10.8 has an issue.

Hi. With Mountain Lion, Apple by default now requires non-Apple Store applications to be digitally "signed." The 2012 WPBD is not signed. So you must use the System Preferences dialog. Select Personal Security & Privacy. Click the lock. Click Allow applications downloaded from: anywhere. (The default is App Store and identified developers.)

We are working on the digital signature technology. It's just a matter of money and time ;-) The 2013 BD ought to fix this problem.

Why ML reports a corrupt file rather than an unsigned app is a mystery to us. We are not experienced in Mac security mechanisms. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

WPBD 2013 is signed so should have no problems installing on Mountain Lion and later versions of Mac OS X.
