someone in our office installed XCode 2.4 with WO 5.3.2. It seems to
break Wonder's validation stuff, as EOAttribute.validateValue() now
pushes the EOAttribute in the NSValidationException and at least
ERXValidationFactory.convertException expects an EOEnterpriseObject
in there. Result is a ClassCastException. Same is true for
If I understand it correctly, ERXValidationFactory relies on
ERXGenericRecord and ERXCustomObject pushing themselves into the
Exception, but their validateValueForKey checks for
e.key() == null || e.object() == null
before doing so and both are != null now.
I verified that it works again if I change the clause to
e.key() == null || e.object() == null || (e.object() != null && !
(e.object() instanceof EOEnterpriseObject))
but that means that the original object is lost. No clue if that
Maybe someone with a deeper understanding could take a look into that.
