I have been building Project Wonder on my Max OS X systems forever, but am trying to use a CentOS system to build and am having issues with the dependencies. Does anyone have suggestions? I had to install some things. Starting out, I did: $ java -version java version "1.6.0_13" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_13-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.3-b02, mixed mode) $ $ yum install ant $ $ yum install xml-commons $ $ I use CentOS, but am more familiar with Ubuntu. In particular, I keep trying to do a "yum installed", to see what I installed previously and where it went. There is no "yum installed". I miss "port" on the Mac.... I am sure there is some command to get this, but I am not sure where it is. When I try to build, I am still getting the following: $ $ $ ant all /usr/bin/build-classpath: error: Could not find jaxp_parser_impl Java extension for this JVM /usr/bin/build-classpath: error: Some specified jars were not found Buildfile: build.xml clean: clean: frameworks.all: ERJars.all: global.environment: BUILD FAILED /Users/ray/wo/pwo_20090708_153837/Wonder/build.xml:8: The following error occurred while executing this line: /Users/ray/wo/pwo_20090708_153837/Wonder/Build/build/build.xml:927: The following error occurred while executing this line: /Users/ray/wo/pwo_20090708_153837/Wonder/Build/build/build.xml:845: The following error occurred while executing this line: /Users/ray/wo/pwo_20090708_153837/Wonder/Build/build/build.xml:21: The following error occurred while executing this line: /Users/ray/wo/pwo_20090708_153837/Wonder/Build/build/generic.xml:171: The <tempfile> type doesn't support the "deleteonexit" attribute. Total time: 1 second $ $ $ Perhaps Project Wonder needs "Build Dependency" pages like one sees at: http://developer.mozilla.org/en/Linux_Build_Prerequisites. I could certainly add a page for that in the wiki, especially if someone gives me a hand up with this. thanx - ray |
