#4 JRE search order?

Hi,

I wondered how and where WinRun4J searches the dll. With a quick look in the source code I didn't find where it is done, can someone give me hint? A short description of the search algorithm in the documentation would even be better;-)

I'm in an corporate environment. A JRE is expected to be installed on every machine, but of course you always have same cases where it is missing. Ideally I would like to have my launcher look for a suitable JRE in the following order:
1. If the Installation included an JRE use that one (supported via vm.location)
2. use the locally installed JRE (supported, but unclear where WinRun4J looks for it)
3. use one that is on a network share (slow but reliable, if network is down nobody can work anyway here)

I think there are usecases that demand a flexible search order and none of the
launchers I am aware of (exe4J, launch4j, jSmooth) supports that. Maby WinRun4J does?

Regards,
Ringo
