No

When a recursive compare is done there is no option to
copy a folder that only exists in one side only to delete
it!

I don't think this is a bug; that is, I don't think the code
exists at all, which means this is a feature request.

BTW, I was planning to add this some day; it is nice that
someone asked for it, so now I have more incentive to add it :)

Increasing priority. I think this is pretty important for
    directory synhronisation.

Hmm. One question is should we copy subdirectories too?
Exploler copies, but I'm not sure if its good for this kind
of tool. For example I'm comparing WinMerge directories. I
notice ShellExtension directory is missing from other side.
I want to copy only that directory, not "debug" and
    "release" subdirectories.

In RFE [ 859252 ] delete hotkey in dirview, SHFileOperation
API was mentioned. Looking at MSDN help seems that API
allows copying folders too without writing own directory
traversal code, right? And as bonus, it shows progress
dialog? Progress dialog/info would be nice if user copies
big directories (and for other file-operations too).

Don't know, but the progress dialog sounds nice :)

SHFileOperation really shows progress dialog. And even
copies folders recursive (if allowed so). I posted wrapper I
found and some example code as PATCH #877079 CSHellFileOp
    wrapper.
