No

I use WinMerge 2.8.6 to compare file with steps:
1. Click first file that will compare. (ex. C:\Branch\Test.txt)
2. Right click and choose "Compare To"
3. Click a folder (ex. C:\Trunk)
4. Right click and choose "Compare"

With this steps, WinMerge 2.8.6 can compare file automatically C:\Branch\Test.txt with C:\Trunk\Test.txt but WinMerge 2.10.0 can't do it. Why?

Hmm looks like the new command line parser doesn't handle this case at all?

    Jochen?

I wasn't even aware of this "Compare To" menu item. And I'm still wondering how to make it show up...

Oh, I missed the fact this report talked about shell extension. I only tested myself giving paths directly to command line... And, yet I haven't ever realized you can select file and folder in shell extension. I've never thought of using it like that. And I've implemented it. Doh.

You can enable advanced shell extension menu items from system options/Integration/advanced menu.

    Thanks for the fast fix!

Yes, I use Advanced menu to show "Compare To". In my case, WinMerge 2.8.6 can do it, you can try it at WinMerge 2.8.6 but WinMerge 2.10.0 can't do it.

Jochen, can you commit this fix to 2.10 branch too? It is a regression in feature we have clearly documented so we need to get it fixed in 2.10.2.

Oops. Forgot to close this as fixed. Closing now. The bug is fixed in latest WinMerge releases (2.10.2, 2.11.1.7).
