You don't. If it can't decode it, it can't even be sure that a button
was even pressed -- it could just be a spurious value from the IR
module (which sometimes come fairly often depending on the quality of
your IR module and the type of lighting in the room)
If you want the output of the "raw codes" output available to your own
program, then there's not much use for WinLIRC at all, and you'd
probably be better off just taking the source and modifying it for
your own purposes.
