Hi! I have now built the UIRT Tranciever with the PIC16F84 and it works great. I have testet several remotes and they all worked at once, there are no errors, the same key produces all the times the same output. The sending function is also completly independent of Operating System Timing, because the serial port is used in the normal way with the UART and the Tx/Rx lines. I have altered the Tranciever to have an external Power Source and some LEDs to see the status of it. The original version didn't work and might cause problems with several motherboards which cannot give the required currency. I now thought about implementing the support for this tool in WinLIRC. I have knowledge of C and C++ but I am not so kind of Windows/MFC programming. I also wondered if it could be possible to use the TCP Port for recieving AND for sending, so that any application can send automatically. It would be great if someone could give me help or hints in enhancing WinLIRC. Greetings, Sebastian Stuecker |
